I believe Hector did the right thing by fighting achiles beacause he was defending his family. achiles just wanted vengens. Another reason y believe that Hector he right thing is because achiles had killed many of Hectors family. So Hector had to kill him before he killed more. Hector also had to defend himself from the gods. That is why i believe Hector did the right thing defeathing achiles.
